I am a visiting associate professor of Computer Science at Pomona College. My home institute is Indiana University (visit my webpage there).
My research interests include database theory and database systems, management and search of semi-structured and unstructured data, and analysis of social media data for technical and social insights.
I just received a $300K NSF grant, studying the parallablility of database query languages, using the notion of symmetric query as a building block.
